NOTES

WRITING

The writing process we follow in class is:

1. Mondays: Brainstorming. Students make a web chart and they write their ideas for their first draft.

2. Tuesdays: First draft. Organize all your ideas in paragraphs and sentences and make the first draft for your piece of writing.

3. Wednesdays: Revise. Check the general organization of your paragraphs, sentences and contents. Make sure your message is clear to the readers.

4. Thursday: Editing. Check the spelling and handwriting. Make sure your readers can understand and read your handwriting.

5. Publishing: add the final details to your story, such as pictures, colors, titles, signature, among others.

SPELLING

This is our routine for every week:

1. Mondays: Pyramid writing

2. Tuesdays: Pictionary

3. Wednesdays: Sentence writing

4. Thursday: Word Classification

5. Friday: Dictation


EVALUATION AND TESTING

MAP testing is tomorrow! Let's get ready! Congratulations team! I'm very proud of you!!! Last L.A and Math tests were super!

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET

Let's bring $1000 pesos and some of the following things: coffee, chocolate, sugar, salt, oil, tuna, sardins and milk for those people that cooperate with us everyday.

READING

Let's not forget to bring our new notebooks for reading, they will help us keep track of the most interesting books we read in and out of class!

Bring your HRP every Friday, remember you need to read at least 1 book at home everyday and it can't be the same one.
